Dr. Pletz is a native of St. Louis and graduated from Oakville Senior High School in 1989. He received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 1994 and a veterinary degree in 1998, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Pletz's areas of interest in veterinary medicine include dermatology, pediatrics, and dentistry.
As a student of martial arts and an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys spending time with his two boys indulging in both of these past times.
